Important Note for students registering for class:  If you are trying to register for classes and you are seeing the registration add/drop grayed out make sure you are on a desktop and not trying to do this from an IPAD or smartphone.  We do not have the system setup to register through a mobile device at this time.  Check back for summer registration for the mobile option.

 Welcome to the ASU-Newport portal.
 The portal contains access to online courses, campus connect,
calendars, financial aid information, student billing, registration,
etc for all ASUN campuses (Newport, Marked Tree, Jonesboro).   
 
If you are a student and have never logged in click on the Student Account link on the left hand side of this page for detailed instructions.

Important Information for IPAD users

There are limitations with certain items that are attempted when you use an IPAD to access your online courses.  The following items will not work using an IPAD:
  1. When using the file upload function it is important to use a desktop computer or laptop becuase the IPAD restricts loading files in this fashion.
  2. On the forums if formatting is important to your input then an IPAD does not provide these features and it is recommended to use a desktop computer or laptop.

Recommendation Only:  Computer Services recommends that students use a laptop or computer when taking tests in the portal due to these limitations.

Please note:  You must have activated your account and set your password before you can register for classes online.
 
Please use the following instructions to enroll in classes at ASU-Newport, ASUN Technical Center Jonesboro, or ASUN Technical Center at Marked Tree.
1. Click on the Academics Tab
2. Locate the CampusConnect Student Links portlet in the middle column or on the left hand side of the portal
3. Click on the Add/Drop courses link
4. Choose Termcode and then department and click on the List courses button  (Details of termcodes are provided below these instructions)
5. Click on the Add button next to the course you wish to take.
 
 

 

 
Attention all ASUN Mobile Users: 
Now you can view the ASUN portal in a friendly way by going to the following web site from your mobile device:
 
Once you have pulled this page up you can bookmark this for easy access in the future or have an icon saved to your mobile device home screen. 
 
This site will allow you to view various items that are on the portal in a more mobile friendly way.  If you actually login you will use the same login and password as if you were accessing the regular portal page.  Once you have logged in you will see a MyCourses where you will be able to reply to discussion forums for your classes and see various pieces of information that your instructors have posted for the classes.
